SRC Draft Strategic Plan 2025-2031

The Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) is established under Article 230 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, with the mandate to; a) set and regularly review the remuneration and benefits of all State officers; and to; b) advise the national and county governments on the remuneration and benefits of all other public officers. 

In its endeavor to deliver on the constitutional mandate and functions as outlined in SRC Act 2011, SRC has been implementing five-year strategic plans. The first plan covered the period 2013-2018, coinciding with the Second Medium Term Plan (MTPII), while the second plan covered the period 2018-2023, coinciding with the Third Medium Term Plan and overlapping with the Fourth Medium Term Plan (MTPIII & MTPIV).
