STAKEHOLDER AND PUBLIC PARTICIPATION ON THE PROPOSED REVIEW OF THE SALARIES AND REMUNERATION COMMISSION BUDGET FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR 2027/2028 AND THE MEDIUM-TERM BUDGET – SUB SECTOR REPORT
INVITATION TO SUBMIT MEMORANDA
The Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) is established under Article 230(1) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, to set and regularly review the remuneration and benefits of all State officers, and advise the national and county governments on the remuneration and benefits of all other public officers. In the discharge of its mandate, SRC is guided by principles set out in Article 230(5) of the constitution, and Section 12 of SRC Act, 2011.
SRC is a Sub-Sector of the Public Administration and International Relations (PAIR) Sector in the budgeting process. Pursuant to Articles 10, 201, and 230(5) of the Constitution, SRC is hereby inviting stakeholders and the public to submit memoranda on the proposed review of the Budget for the Financial Year 2027/2028 and the Medium-Term Budget – Sub Sector Report.
The Sub Sector Report will be communicated to the stakeholders after considering all input. The proposed Sub Sector Report can be downloaded as PDF from the link provided above.
Memoranda providing views and submissions should be addressed to the Commission Secretary/CEO, and sent (in Word Document, PDF or Excel, as may be required) through the following email address: info@src.go.ke and/or addressed to the Commission Secretary/CEO, and sent through Salaries and Remuneration Commission, P.O. All submissions and views should reach SRC not later than 5:00pm on Saturday, 19 September 2026.
