On 23 May 2025, Sammy Chepkwony, SRC Chairperson, Dr. Gilda Odera, Vice Chairperson, together with Commissioners Dr. Geoffrey Omondi, Mohamed Aden, Hon. Sen. Isaac Melly, and James Sitienei, Ag. Commission Secretary/CEO, held productive consultations with Hon. Geoffrey K. Ruku, Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Human Capital Development, and Special Programmes, at Harambee House, Nairobi. The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration and exploring key areas of mutual interest between the two institutions in an effort to serve the public service efficiently and manage the public wage bill effectively.
