Sammy Chepkwony, SRC Chairperson, convened the inaugural Steering Committee meeting on the First National Productivity Conference 2026, bringing together key government leaders to align on preparations for the landmark conference. The meeting was graced by Philip Mong’ony, Chairperson, State Corporations Advisory Committee; CPA. Kithinji Kiragu, Chairperson, Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC); Dr. Bonface Makokha, PS, State Department for Economic Planning; Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim Abdisalan, PS State Department for National Government Coordination; Dr. Kipkurui S. Chepkwony, CEO IGRTC; representatives from Council of Governors, National Productivity and Competitiveness Centre, and PS State Department for Labour and Skills Development. The meeting was also attended by SRC Commissioners Aden Mohamed and Dr. Jacob Mbijjiwe, as well as CHRP. Ali Abdullahi Surraw, SRC Commission Secretary/CEO. The meeting reaffirmed a shared commitment to advancing productivity across the public service.
