The Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) continues to champion productivity reforms in the public service, with Commissioners Aden Mohammed, Leonid Ashindu, Geoffrey Omondi, and Dr. Jacob Mbijjiwe actively participating in the Kaizen Productivity Mainstreaming Training of Trainers Programme.
Speaking during the training, the Commissioners underscored the importance of embedding a culture of efficiency, process optimisation, collaboration and measurable results across public institutions, noting that productivity enhancement is central to building a modern, responsive and citizen-centred public service.
The two-week programme, implemented by the Office of the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service, builds on the recent Productivity Enhancement Learning Mission to Ethiopia and aims to develop a cohort of 30 certified Kaizen trainers to support the nationwide rollout of productivity reforms across MDAs.
SRC’s participation reaffirms the Commission’s commitment to strengthening performance management, institutional effectiveness and sustainable productivity in the public service, in line with constitutional values and national development priorities.
