Office of the Commission Secretary / Chief Executive Officer

The Commission has a Secretariat headed by the Commission Secretary, who also doubles up as the Chief Executive Officer. The responsibilities include:

• Managing and coordinating the affairs of SRC’s Secretariat;
• Ensuring effective and efficient service delivery, performance management, staff development and resource mobilisation;
• Ensuring the development and implementation of the Business Continuity Plan;
• Managing the day-to-day affairs of SRC.

Four departments report directly to the Commission Secretary/Chief Executive Officer. These are: Internal Audit Department, Corporate Communications Department, Legal Services Department and Supply Chain Management Department.
