The Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) launched a new website on 4 March 2020. The website, which is fully mobile-friendly, will enable SRC to maintain a good corporate image, as well as ensure stakeholders receive relevant and updated information in a timely manner.
In attendance during the launch were SRC Commissioners, staff and the website developer. While presenting the website, the Head of Corporate Communications of the SRC, Anthony Mwangi, demonstrated the enhanced features, which will prompt users to learn more and engage with the SRC.
Some of the features include; a stakeholders section along with its feedback mechanism and partnership opportunities, news from the SRC chairperson, an easy to use search engine for circulars and latest news, careers and internships, tenders and suppliers registration, among others.
In her remarks, the Chairperson of the Corporate Image and Stakeholder Management Committee of the SRC, Dr. Mumbua Munyao, stated that in conducting its mandate, SRC often attracts both media and public attention.
“It was thus important for SRC to invest in a more dynamic and easy to navigate website so as to keep the national and county governments, stakeholders, as well as international partners, abreast on SRC policies and activities,” she said.
The Commission Secretary/CEO, Anne Gitau, thanked the internal teams that developed the website, further challenging the Commissioners, Secretariat staff and the media to interact with the website.
