SRC is currently training Job Analysis Teams (JATs) for Disciplined Services and Public Universities, Research and Tertiary Institutions. Representatives from the various institutions in the two sectors have been nominated and are being trained on the job evaluation, and will thereafter undertake job analysis in their respective institutions.

This training will enable JATs to acquire and sharpen their knowledge on job evaluation and, in particular, delve deeper into job analysis, job descriptions and job specifications.

The nominees will be part of the sector committees that will conduct the Job Analysis and will also act as change and communication agents in their institutions.

It is expected that the job evaluation exercise for the public universities, research and tertiary institutions will be completed by June 2017, for the first phase of implementation in the Financial Year 2017/18.
